Cooper Coleman Seeks Director of Major Gifts For People Working Cooperatively, Inc.

CHICAGO, IL – Cooper Coleman LLC, an executive search firm specializing in nonprofit and social impact organizations, has been retained by People Working Cooperatively, Inc. (PWC) to lead the search for a Director of Major Gifts (DMG). The nonprofit organization, which provides essential home repairs and services to low-income, elderly, veterans, and disabled residents in the Greater Cincinnati area, is looking for a dynamic and experienced fundraising leader who can help the organization continue and expand its meaningful impact. The Director of Major Gifts is a new position within PWC, providing an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to develop a major gifts program for a large, well-established organization with a rich history of serving the Region.

The Director of Major Gifts will be an essential member of PWC's Development Team, responsible for managing the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major and planned gifts from high-net-worth individuals as well as gifts and sponsorships from corporations. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Vice President of Development to create and implement a robust, engaging major gifts program to sustain the mission of PWC and its growth over the coming years.

 

Qualifications for the position include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience and a minimum of five years of successful portfolio management experience in a nonprofit organization with a proven success record in major, corporate, and/or planned gift fundraising.
